Taken it one step at a time

Mon Apr 27, 2009, 7:56 PM
So all I got is the cube up...........yeah that's right. Well I've been reading books on how to model and what not in Blender. Trust me it's a lot, but when I was getting down. I saw and interview with the creator of Blender Ton Rosendall ( I probably spelt his name wrong) he said people complain and what not about Blender being difficult to use but if you think about it, it's like having a grand piano and you can't play a moving song. You have to practice and learn, so that's where I am right now baby steps with the reading and hopefully within a few months I'll have some cool stuff to show everybody.

I'm just a guy from a small town, with big ideas and dreams. I hope to become a "professional" filmmaker ( yeah I can make money off of this :) )

Haven't heard from you in a while. Wondering how you are doing on your modelling and if you started a new project. The last Durontus I saw was looking fantastic, and I'm excited to see more.

Hey man

Ugh the real world slowly crept back into my life so I had to take a break. I'm working on his right now actually. I had a friend of mine who taught me some stuff in 3D and I'm reworking my model just a bit. He came up with a badass model of Durontus which I will send to you and then I'll send mine. The last thing to do is texture and it's hard for me to find to right skin texture for Durontus, but that hasn't stopped me from trying :)

Awesome. I'm glad to hear you're sticking with it. No pressure or anything, I just think it's very cool.

Thanks
